Bonefish Grill Brand Evolution Campaign
Bonefish Grill was evolving. Its newer restaurants reflected a cleaner, fresher, brighter dining experience, while the brand’s existing identity remained warm, rich, and atmospheric. The challenge was to help the brand move forward without losing the emotional equity guests already valued.
We developed a transitional brand platform rooted in a simple insight: freshness is meant to be shared.
Freshness could mean discovering a new restaurant together, trying an unexpected twist on a familiar flavor, or lingering over cocktails with friends. The idea connected Bonefish Grill’s culinary strengths with the emotional experience of dining there, creating a more contemporary expression of the brand without abandoning its character.
The work included refining key brand attributes, shaping the strategic narrative, developing messaging, and guiding the creative campaign. Existing qualities such as fresh, memorable, and unique remained central, while others evolved to better reflect the changing guest experience—from vibrant to joyful and from comfortable to authentic.
Creative drew a parallel between the fleeting freshness of seafood and the fleeting moments people savor together. Through honest, artful storytelling, the campaign celebrated the craft, spontaneity, and connection behind every bite and every shared experience.
The result was a platform that helped bridge Bonefish Grill’s established identity with its next chapter—aligning the evolving restaurant environment with a brand story that felt fresher, more relevant, and still unmistakably Bonefish.
